Getting them on

It stretches to the foot instead of fighting it.

Swelling changes the shape of a foot through the day, and a stiff cuff turns a thirty second job into a wrestling match. The top here is knit wide and stretchy, so it opens up to clear the heel and then settles back without pinching.

The ankle and instep are cut with the same extra room, which is the part most socks get wrong.

Graduated compression, if you want it

Firmest at the ankle, easing as it goes up.

The Over The Calf Compression Socks come in three graduated strengths: 8–15 mmHg light, 15–20 mmHg medium and 20–30 mmHg firm. If you have been told which strength to wear, choose that one.

Not everyone wants compression. The Ultra-Soft Upper Calf and the Cotton Crew give you room and stretch with no squeeze at all.

Why pick Diabetic Sock Club?

Room where it's needed

A wide stretch top and a roomy ankle and instep, so a swollen foot still slides in.

No band digging in

The top holds gently instead of gripping, so nothing presses a line into a puffy ankle.

Compression when you want it

Questions before you order

Will these go on when my feet are swollen in the evening?

That is what the wide stretch top is for. It opens up to clear the foot and heel and then settles back without pinching. The Ultra-Soft Upper Calf has the roomiest top of the set if the evening is when you struggle most.

Do I need compression, or just a roomy sock?

If you have been told to wear compression, wear the strength you were given. If nobody has told you anything, plenty of people are happier in the Ultra-Soft Upper Calf or the Cotton Crew, which give room and stretch with no squeeze.

Which compression strength should I choose?

The Over The Calf Compression Socks come in 8–15 mmHg (light), 15–20 mmHg (medium) and 20–30 mmHg (firm). Choose the one you have been told to wear. Otherwise most people start light.

How do the sizes run?

Sizes go by your everyday shoe size, and the exact range for each style is listed on its product page. The women's range starts at Small (shoe size 4–7). Between sizes, go up, and go up if your feet swell a lot by evening.

What if they aren't right?

Every pair carries a 1-Year Replacement Guarantee. If a sock gets a hole or wears out within a year of buying it, send it back and we'll replace it free. Shipping is free on every order, with no minimum.
